Here are some of the films I’ve been lucky enough to make with inventive children, young people and adults.
Friends was a song which I wrote with two year 6 girls. We then asked Dance club to choreograph a whole school dance, we filmed it during lunch time and then I edited the footage together.
OYAP Trust’s You-tubers project worked with 9 young people to learn the basic techniques for vlogging.
Here’s a film we made in 4 days with a group of 10 ‘NEET’ young people
This film was written and directed by Alfie (who was in year 6)! It’s another radio club gem which we filmed and edited together during 6 weeks of after school radio club.
Fragments was a project for young people who had experienced parental separation and divorce. It allowed them the opportunity to express their emotions through art. Here’s an animation made by two girls in year 10 over 4 hours.
Career Start was made in a 3 hours workshops with 12 young care-leavers, it was a therapeutic project which hoped to capture hopes and aspirations of the future in preparation for leaving care.
